In celebration of Earth Day (April 22), The North Face has joined forces with LA-based streetwear label Online Ceramics to drop an eco-friendly collection inspired by ’70s Californian climb culture.

The team-up serves as an introduction to TNF’s Re-Grind process, which reuses scraps from the brand’s factories to create new products. The innovation adds to the company’s commitment to convert all of its top materials to recycled, regenerative or renewable by 2025. The Online Ceramics collaboration, in particular, is made with 75% or greater recycled or organic fabric content.

“We’ve always aimed to create apparel with positive messages that encourage people to shift their way of thinking,” the streetwear label’s founders Elijah Funk and Alix Ross spoke of the partnership. “Collaborating with an iconic brand like The North Face has allowed us to fuse our unique, thought-provoking designs with the styles The North Face is known for, creating retro-inspired gear that celebrates Earth everyday.”

Pieces include the Nuptse Jacket, Denali Fleece and Basecamp Duffel, which are all made with sustainability in mind. Each design is updated with Online Ceramics’ playful graphics with an accent hue of green found throughout.

The Online Ceramics x The North Face collaboration is now available at stores in Asia regions. Europe will see a later release on April 27, followed by North America on April 29. View this post on Instagram A post shared by The North Face (@thenorthface)
